About Huffman Law Group

Mission

Every client, every matter, every invoice — if something isn't right, we make it right. That has been our promise for thirty years.

Deep Technical Expertise. Boutique Attention

Huffman Law Group was built around a single conviction: that the most important thing a patent attorney can do is understand a product or invention completely — and then draw its boundaries as broadly as the prior art will allow.

That sounds simple. It isn't. It requires genuine technical fluency, the judgment to see what matters strategically, and the rare ability to translate complex engineering into language that holds up in court. We have spent thirty years building a team that can do all three. We are selective about the work we take, and equally selective about the people we hire. That selectivity is the firm.

The team's engineering roots run deep — HP, Bell Labs, Dell, Texas Instruments. Before practicing law, our attorneys worked inside the same kinds of organizations they now serve. That foundation shapes everything: how quickly we understand a new technology, how accurately we characterize it, and how confidently we defend it.

Over thirty years, that combination of engineering experience and IP practice has produced more than 7,000 patent applications before the USPTO and international patent offices — patents that have been enforced and licensed by Microsoft, Apple, Intel, IBM, AMD, and Texas Instruments.
